Strengthening Ties: MoU Signing Between the Government of Goa and Fundação Oriente

In a significant step towards fostering cultural collaboration, an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between the Government of Goa and Fundação Oriente during the visit of Hon’ble Minister of Art and Culture of Goa, Mr. Govind Gaude, to Portugal. The MoU aims to deepen cultural exchanges, strengthen cooperation in arts and heritage preservation, and promote mutual understanding between Goa and Portugal.

 

Ambassador Puneet Kundal was present to witness this momentous occasion, which marks a new chapter in India-Portugal bilateral relations. Goa and Portugal share deep historical and cultural ties, which continue to play a crucial role in the broader India-Portugal partnership.

 

This event holds special significance as it takes place in the milestone 50th year of diplomatic relations between India and Portugal, reinforcing the commitment of both nations to preserving shared heritage, fostering cultural diplomacy, and promoting artistic collaborations.
