Ambassador Inaugurates Goa Booth and India Pavilion at Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL) 2025

Ambassador Puneet Kundal, alongside Hon’ble Minister of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, Mr. Govind Gaude, inaugurated the Goa booth and India Pavilion at the Lisbon Tourism Fair – Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL) 2025, Portugal’s largest premier tourism trade event.The participation of Goa at BTL 2025 was a testament to its global appeal as a premier tourist destination, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and vibrant tourism sector. 

 

The India booth, managed in collaboration domestic travel agencies such as Tiwari Tours, India Travel Pundits, and Incredible Voyages, provided a platform to promote India as a top travel destination. The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of India-Portugal diplomatic relations, reinforcing the deep historical and cultural ties between the two nations.

 

The participation at BTL 2025 underscores India’s commitment to strengthening tourism exchanges with Portugal and enhancing its global outreach in the travel and hospitality industry.
