H.E. Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal Addresses Senior Defence Officers at the Military University Institute of Portugal

H.E. Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal had the honor of addressing senior defence officers from Portugal, Brazil and Mozambique during the Flag Officer Training Course at the prestigious Military University Institute of Portugal.

 

In his address, Ambassador Kundal underscored the deep-rooted and evolving ties between India and Portugal, highlighting their historical connections and the growing momentum in bilateral relations. He provided key insights into India’s foreign policy in the contemporary global landscape, outlining the country’s strategic priorities and international engagements.

 

He also discussed the rise of a multipolar world order, emphasizing India’s pivotal role in shaping global governance. With India projected to become the third-largest economy by 2028, Ambassador Kundal highlighted the country’s expanding influence on the world stage and stressed the importance of strengthening economic and defence cooperation between India and the Republic of Portugal.
