Krishna Kahani - The Musical at Hindu Community of Portugal, Lisbon (16.09.2017)

Yuva Sevak, the Indian diaspora youth group of Hindu Community of Portugal, presented “Krishna Kahani - The Musical” on 16 September 2017. The Musical was created entirely by volunteers of Yuva Sevak and narrated the story of Indian God Krishna in English, Portuguese and Gujarati.
Ambassador of India to Portugal H.E. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla attended the event and congratulated Yuva Sevak and Hindu Community of Portugal for organising the cultural event. She also informed the gathering about course on Indian Studies at the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL).
The details of Indian Study course in FLUL are as follows:

1. The classes will be in English and Portuguese and are an excellent opportunity to learn Indian History, Culture, Government and Politics, Contemporary and Modern India, Hindi, India in the World and Asian Religions.
2. Each student enrolled in the course will receive a Welcome Kit of Indian Goodies.
3. As part of the course, there will be Bollywood Cinema nights with Indian Food and free Yoga classes.
4. The best 3 students of the course will receive cash prize of Euro 500, 300 and 200.
5. Deserving candidates will also be eligible for ICCR Scholarship for Higher Education (including Hindi, Classical Indian Dance forms) in India.
