India Business Seminar in Portimão (20.11.2017)

Embassy of India in Lisbon organised an “India Business Seminar” on Monday, 20 November 2017 in Portimão.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador of India to Portugal H. E. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla invited the participants to explore economic opportunities India has to offer. She also presented the Mayor of Portimão, Dra Isilda Gomes, the “India-Surging Ahead” booklet which gives a snapshot of the largest transformation underway today in India.
Mr. D. P. Ahuja, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Trade & Investment Facilitation Corporation Ltd., Ms. Shuchita Sonalika, Director and Head, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) UK Office and Mr. Tiago Rosa, Tax Manager - International Tax Services, EY made presentations on Indian Economy, recent GoI business friendly initiatives, opportunities in key business sectors and tax system in India.
About 50 Portuguese businessmen, entrepreneurs & investors attended the event.
