Tender Notice for paritioning of a room into two areas/rooms.
1. Embassy of India, Lisbon invites Bids from service providers for undertaking of work(s), which are listed in the “Scope of Work” below, at Embassy of India, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, Restelo, 1400-297 Lisbon.
SCOPE OF WORK:
i. Supply and installation of partition/divisoria in a room at Embassy of India, Lisbon.
The details of the partition that Embassy is looking for, are as given below:
There is a one big room at Embassy (Address: Rua Pêro da Covilhã 16A, 1400-297 Lisboa) and the Embassy wants it to divide into two rooms/partitions (A and B) by glass(es) with an option for a glass door for access between the rooms/partitions. The pictorial representation of the room and the required partition is given as below:

Next to the glass partition (inside partition A), the Embassy wants to have simple blinds/curtains with an option for opening and closing (up and down) of the blinds as and when required, with a remote/battery etc.
The purpose of the separation is that the persons in partition B should not be able see what is there is partition A when the blinds and closed. Also, there be some level of sound proof between both the partitions and suitable type of glass may be chosen for this purpose.
If blinds/curtains are not possible to install for the door (glass), the door can be non-transparent or obscure. The Embassy also want to have a code based/password based access mechanism for the DOOR to enter partition A from Partition B, with an option to RESET the CODE/Password as and when needed.
ii. Supply and installation of the suitable partitions/divisorias to be supplied (as mentioned in point no. I), as per site evaluation and assessment at the Embassy.
iv. Remove all debris/wastage, if any and clean the area upon completion of work.
2. The detailed tender documents may be downloaded from Central Procurement Portal https://eprocure.gov.in/. Please note that any corrigendum/ addendum in the above tender documents, if required, will be hosted in the website of the Embassy of India, Lisbon, as given above.
3. Interested bidders can visit the said property with prior appointment by calling at phone number 213041100 between 10 am to 5 pm or by sending an email at Ga.Lisbon@mea.gov.in from 19 June 2023 to 10 July 2023.
4. The interested companies have to submit the tenders in Two Bid System i.e (i) Technical Bid and (ii) Financial Bid, as mentioned below, which may be submitted physically or through courier/post before the deadline of 12 July 2023 (1700 hours, Portuguese time). Envelope A (Technical Bid): This sealed envelope should contain the documents establishing the technical
eligibility of the company and other documents required in accordance with Annexure-I. The envelope is to be superscribed as “Technical Bid”. Envelope B (Financial Bid): This sealed envelop should contain the price on an all-inclusive basis, including VAT etc. in accordance with Annexure-II. The Envelope is to be superscribed as “Financial Bid”. Envelope C: This envelope should contain both Envelope A and Envelope B superscribed with “Bid for Civil Works at Embassy of India, Lisbon” addressed to the Head of Chancery, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, Restelo, Lisbon 1400-297. Financial Bid of a company disqualified at technical evaluation stage shall not be opened.

5. The bids are to be submitted latest by 5 pm on 12 July, 2023 addressed to Head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, 1400-297 Restelo, Lisbon, Portugal.
6. The Embassy of India, Lisbon reserves the right to reject any bid at any stage of the bidding process without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
7. The selected bidder shall be formally informed about the selection by Embassy of India, Lisbon who shall be required to sign an agreement (which can be drafted later on mutual understanding) with the Embassy within 10 days of issuance of such information.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The Agency must have a minimum of 3 years experience of handling similar kind of work in reputed organizations.
2. The persons deployed by the contractor should have requisite experience and skills for carrying out the assigned maintenance task using appropriate materials and tools/equipment. The contractor must employ adult and skilled labour only.
3. The agency should have sufficient employees on its rolls specifically trained for this activity.
4. The agency should clearly give the technical and quality aspects of the divisorias/partitions (type of the glass, thickness of the glass, details of frame (if applicable) and of the blinds/curtains) to be used. The agency should also provide the details of warranty/guarantee of the divisorias/partitions as applicable.
5. Rates quoted shall be firm and fixed. No additional charges apart from the charges mentioned in bid, shall be payable.
6. For finalization of work, the tender whose rates are the lowest in comparison to other bidders will be considered as the lowest bidder.
7. The Mission reserves the right to cancel this work/tender if no satisfactory bids are received from any of the bidders.
08. Physical visit to the Embassy building is advisable to have a general idea about the extent of works required. 1. Embassy of India, Lisbon invites Bids from companies for undertaking of works which are listed in the “Scope of Work” below, at Embassy of India, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, Restelo, 1400-297 Lisbon.
SCOPE OF WORK:
i. Supply and installation of Laminated glass (with security film between the inner and outer glasses for anti-intrusion. The suggested requirements of the glass/film are given below) on the doors and windows in the Embassy as per site evaluation and assessment at the Embassy. Removal of the existing glasses in the windows/doors.

iii. Supply and installation of roller blinds/shutters for doors and windows as per layout to be provided by the Embassy. Removal of old blinds.
iv. Remove all debris and clean the area upon completion of work.
