The latest edition of the Saurashtra Vepar Udyog Mahamandal (SVUM 2022) trade fair has been scheduled to take place from 16-20 December 2022 in Rajkot, Gujarat.

As the largest city on the Saurashtra Peninsula in the western Indian state of Gujarat, Rajkot has more than 2 million inhabitants and is an important international trading hub in a highly business-minded region with many historic ties to Portugal. In 2021, the Embassy received a total of 28 trade queries from prospective exporters from Rajkot, who expressed interest in supplying the Portuguese market with various product categories, including Food Articles, Building Materials (e.g. Ceramic Tiles), Textiles and Machinery. 5th Uniform & Garment Manufacturers Fair, Hyderabad (Telangana), 7-9 December 2022

India's 5th Uniform & Garment Manufacture's Fair 2022 will be held from 7-9 December 2022 by the Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association at the premium exhibition property  Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad (Telangana). It has been organised in conjunction with the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), which has expressed its willingness to offer free hotel accommodation and travel expenditure reimbursements for some of the visitors.

The upcoming fair will present unique blends of all types of Uniforms, Fancy Garments, Accessories and Machinery for Textile Manufacturers who will be exhibiting under one roof – a one-stop solution for sourcing Uniforms. The Fair will include big brands like Mafatlal, SKumar, Qmax, Valji and Sparsh. This will be organised as per international standards covering an approximate area of 40,000 square feet under an air-conditioned central dome. The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are jointly organising the Higher Education Summit & Exhibition 2022, an international summit on higher education, from 17-19 November 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan premier conference centre in New Delhi. The event is expected to be supported by the Ministry of Education.

The event will feature a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet in which about 300 delegates from Africa, Middle East, CIS, Asia (including SAARC) and other potential regions are being invited to participate in B2B and B2G meetings during the event. 2nd IND-TEXPO, Mumbai, Maharashtra 24-26 August 2022

Organised by the The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (Texprocil), the 2nd IND-TEXPO Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) will take place from 24-26 August 2022 in the World Trade Centre, Mumbai (Maharashtra).

As the largest sourcing show for Indian cotton textiles and cotton-blended textiles, the IND-TEXPO  will offer a display of the latest products, innovations and technology by leading manufacturers and exporters from all across India. TMIH[at]ICONN 2022, August 2022-January 2023

The TMIH[at]ICONN 2022 - India’s first virtual exhibition for startup ecosystems – is taking place from August 2022 to January 2023. The online initiative has been organised by TATA Technologies Ltd and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The virtual exhibition will be active for six months and will include concurrent theme-based webinars / seminars / panel discussions on topics that are critical to success within the startup ecosystem. IGFA: 67th India International Garment Fair (IIGF),Greater Noida, 20-22June 2022

The Council for Leather Exports (CLE) is organising a Footwear and Leather Products Show (DILEX 2022), which will take place in New Delhi from 25-26 March 2022.

The event will take place over two days from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with the participation of around 100 leading Indian manufacturer-exporters/suppliers of Footwear (leather and non-leather), Footwear Components (Uppers), Leather Garments, Leather Goods and Accessories, including various categories of Leather Gloves as well as Harness and Saddlery products. Around 40 Indian companies have already confirmed their participation. The event will serve to show the Indian Leather and Leather Products Industry as a major sourcing destination and also to facilitate B2B meetings between Indian exporters and overseas buyers for sourcing footwear and leather products from India, establishing marketing tie-ups and exploring business collaborations and joint venture agreements.

India Stonemart 2022, Jaipur (Rajasthan), 17-20 February 2022

INDIA STONEMART is an international stone industry exhibition being organised biennially by Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) along with Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd.
