Signing of an agreement between Indian defence and aerospace company and Portuguese company for the manufacture of advanced defence systems in Portugal

Ambassador P. R. Kundal witnessed the signing of an agreement between Indian defence and aerospace company Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace (FWDA) and Portuguese company KEYDEF for the manufacture of advanced defence systems in Portugal. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on the production of the ‘Yama’ interceptor systems and ‘KaalBhairav’ autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), with a focus on serving international markets. The partnership represents an important step towards expanding industrial and technological cooperation between India and Portugal in the strategic sectors of defence and aerospace.
