A Protocol of Cooperation (PoC) was signed on 17th May 2017 in Lisbon between National Archives of India (NAI) and Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries of Portugal (DGLAB). The signatories included: from Indian side, Shri Raghvendra Singh, Director-General, National Archives of India and from Portuguese side Mr Silvestre Lacerda, Director-General, Books, Archives and Libraries. The PoC seeks to establish cooperation in the field of conservation and preservation of archives and historical documents of the two countries. The protocol is valid for a period of three years.
